BuyersKeys is free to use. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no ads. Here’s exactly how that’s possible, and how we keep it honest.

The short version

When one of our tools suggests you’d benefit from speaking to a solicitor or mortgage broker – for example, getting a Mortgage in Principle sorted, or lining up a conveyancing solicitor before you offer – we may recommend a specific partner. If you choose to go ahead with them, they may pay us a referral fee. This costs you nothing extra – it doesn’t change the price or service you get from them.

Why this doesn’t compromise our advice

We only recommend a solicitor or broker where genuinely acting on that step would strengthen your position as a buyer – not because they pay the most. If a partner isn’t right for buyers generally, we drop them, regardless of what they pay us. Our whole model depends on you trusting the advice on this site enough to come back and use the next tool – that only works if the advice stays honest, including when the honest answer is “you don’t need this yet” or “wait.”

What we’ll never do

• We will never let a referral fee change what a tool tells you, or what number a calculator shows you
• We will never share your personal details with a partner unless you actively choose to request that introduction
• We do not run display advertising, and we do not sell your data to advertisers or anyone else
